VJSSGS administer virtual orientation
The Vedasto J. Samonte School of Graduate Studies (VJSGSS) administered its orientation program on October 23, 2021, via Google Meet.
“I know too, regardless of your inconveniences and difficulties of this educational environment, you can rise with learning and the completion of your chosen degree as your end goal. I believe that with all our efforts and determination put together, everything will come into crucial,” said Dr. Florence D. Ganir, the dean of VJSSGS, in welcoming their students for this academic year.
Dr. Chita A. Gonzales, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), also delivered her message to the students. “I want you to know that the entire Northwestern University community is here to support, sustain, and encourage you as you commit your study at NWU. We could not be more privileged to work with you in this vibrant learning community. It is you who makes what we are, and we look forward to the fresh ideas and energy you bring to our campus.”
The presentation of the Academic Calendar for 2021-2022 and policies are given by Dr. Jennifer Del Amen, Program Coordinator of Masters of Civil Engineering (MSCE). After the presentation, Dr. Eric S. Parilla, Vice President for Research Community Extension Integrated Agricultural Development (RCEIAD), supplemented the research and other policies of VJSSGS.
The students also conducted an election for their student organization after the program.
