NWU CCJE signs MOU with HAU, eyes further student development

The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) had a partnership with the Holy Angel University’s College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics. The virtual signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was held on February 16, 2022.

The objective of the MOU is to assist the parties in strengthening their collaboration, notably in research, education, training, and other related disciplines as mutually agreed upon by the parties. Furthermore, the MOU has the following terms and conditions. The participants should investigate collaboration areas to improve the universities’ various advocacy, projects, and programs, including continuous professional development, community projects, and business education. The said agreement also offers students developmental activities like national or international academic forums and competitions and provides student participants from their institutions.

Also, the two universities will work jointly to stage a variety of research activities, including but not limited to webinars, seminars, future training, and workshops, to achieve their shared and organizational goals.

“Our partnership would strengthen the operations of the college in the delivery of its criminology program and provide a wider opportunity for faculty and [student] development. This would greatly help in the realization of college and university vision and mission and objectives. As to events, we have various plans, like the hosting of educational webinars and research congress[es], and many more. We will also look forward to their assistance in coming up with a new program for our college on Bachelor of Science in Forensic which they already have,”            said Dr. Jonah B. Badua, Dean of the CCJE.
