Fit Olympics 5 Delivers Thrilling Team Sports Victories

With cheers echoing across the campus grounds, Fit Olympics Season 5- Team Sports roared to life, bringing together students in a spirited celebration of strength, skill, and solidarity. Organized by the NWU PathFit Society, the two-day event held on May 15–16, 2025, featured six dynamic teams competing in four major sporting events—showcasing not only athleticism but also unwavering unity.

The event officially started with words of encouragement from the university administration, who emphasized the deeper purpose behind the competition.

“This culminating activity is a reminder of how we achieve and join together, pushing through every challenge. Whether you’re on the court or in the field, you have displayed great teamwork and sportsmanship—qualities that go far beyond the net,” said Dr. Charliemane A. Bullalayao, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) during the opening program.

Mr. Alvin Jay Tugaoen, SPED Sport Coordinator (Head), echoed his sentiment, reminding students to value every moment in this event, “Let us cherish the lessons we learn and the memories we make along the way. Let us celebrate each other’s achievements and, above all, have fun.”

Dominating the competition, Team Vipers emerged as the Overall Champion, a remarkable feat that reflected their preparation, unity, and determination.

  • 3RD RUNNER-UP – Shark Defenders
  • 4TH RUNNER-UP – Flamingo

As the games drew to a close, Fit Olympics Season 5 stood as a testament to resilience, growth, and the true essence of sportsmanship.
